It apparently means 'edge of the wood'.

Is your new home on the edge of a wood?
No. Its by a railway station. I love it! Its perfect for travel. The inside of my house has a woody theme however. Reclaimed wood from an old church and the décor is meant to reflect a forest.

A Forest?
Yes, A Forest. Like if a spaceship crash landed in a forest. That's the aim. Its very sociable!

What made you want to move to Penge?
I love it! Its got the amazing Crystal Palace park, swimming pool, gym. I love the 'Bridge house' pub and 'Friends of Flavours' Italian. Great transport and so far a really welcoming community. I LOVE PENGE

What were you looking for in a house?
The biggest factor was having somewhere I could be creative, social and relaxed. I literaly asked myself 'Could I imagine inviting a group of friends over and could we be comfortable reading plays, having a laugh and if ever the chance arose could we do some acting. The answer here is YES. Their is still work to be done, but you know, I am so happy and I cant wait to get to living.

My Top 5 sessions in Brockley

http://www.actorsreadplays.co.uk/blog/-my-top-5-sessions-in-brockley

http://www.actorsreadplays.co.uk/blog/-my-top-5-sessions-in-brockley#comments

Uncategorized

In no particular order...- Our sharing of self written work, Fiona's Charles Dickens' work being my favourite.- Chekov, tea and Vodka!
